Although very popular in most countries, football is obviously not the most popular sport in America. Part of the reason is that Americans prefer the sport, "she said," was invented, as (American) football and baseball tend. If you ask any sports fan in America "that won the World Series (baseball) last year?" be able to say. Or, if you ask, "where the two teams in the Super Bowl last year?" is certainly in a position, teams, the end result and tell who won. But if you ask, "Who has the last World Cup?" You can look at you with a blank stare.
There are reasons why football is the most popular sport in many countries. Here are three of them:
Action - The action taken in football is almost non-stop (unless a penalty). For many people this exciting football can be seen. Compare that to football or baseball, where the interesting players, but then listened for a while, until the coup or the next player, and these two sports very stop and go.
Skill-Oriented - Football is a game of skill and finesse than brute force. In baseball, players try to stronger so that they get the ball and hit more home runs. In football, this will be difficult to help a little, but not make you better able to keep the ball away trying to steal from someone. Ability aspect of it is fun to watch.
World Sport - Football Championship, World Championship, really covers the whole world (as opposed to "World Series" in baseball contrast, because only the U.S. and Canada in the World Cup, every other team the country, so get in the end you see, who really is the best.
So, if you do not see a football game and then try it out. You may like them.
